Boart Longyear IT is hiring on its service desk support team and are looking to add a new IT Support Analyst. This analyst position will report to the Service Desk Manager and primarily work in our corporate office located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced service desk and analyst applicants

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

* Understanding of desktop technologies and systems

* Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software

* In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Responsibilities

* System analysis

* Work with internal and external users and customers in diverse ways to diagnose, support, remediate and escalate

* Maintenance and support of premise and cloud systems

* Troubleshoot hardware and software predominately laptops, desktops, tablets and smart phones

* Work with vendors and 3rd party support personnel

* Optimize workflows

* Reviewing systems and processes

* Building and implementing functionality in processes

* Systems and Audit
