We are seeking a Database Administratorto join Zions Bancorporation. TheDatabase Administrator plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of the data of the organization, while facilitating Business developments and innovations through deploys and user provisioning. We are looking for aDatabase Administratorwho can focus on detailed data problems and come up with creative and efficient solutions. Below are some other responsibilities.

The Database Administrator will:

  • Support Business partners with their database needs
  • Develop and maintain system documentation \ processes.
  • Collaborate with our business partners to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Work closely with great teammates to ensure system resources are at optimum levels.
  • Coordinate and perform patching efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience with Oracle.
  • Oracle 19c, multi-tenant, RAC, Exadata Experience needed.
  • Knowledge of UNIX and Linux
  • Clone\Backup\Restore
  • Query tuning, Analyze and be able resolve data issues.
  • Excellent troubleshooting\problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills within the team and with Business affiliates.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Experience managing complex customer facing platforms, processes, and tools. Strong working knowledge of financial/banking systems is a plus.

Location:

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus is the company's primary technology and operations center.
