Zions Bancorporation is hiring an Accounts Receivable & Monitoring Specialist to join our Central Collateral Monitoring department located in our new Zions Tech Center in Midvale, UT. Position will offer a 3/2 hybrid work schedule.

The Central Collateral Monitoring Group is part of the Fee Income Group and specializes in asset-based financing structures; including revolving lines of credit and term loans, to borrowers across a variety of industries. Central Collateral Monitoring is an Enterprise group for Zions Bancorporation, providing service to Borrower's located within the Western United States. We validate Borrowing Base calculations supplied by our Borrowers to facilitate the functioning of these revolving lines of credit secured by the assets of our Borrowers.

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Responsible for calculating a Borrowing Base Review (BBR) deliverable based on the Borrowing Base Certificate (BBC) and supporting reports submitted by the Borrower, Lender or third party service.
  • Validates the collateral report balances to the Borrowing Base Certificate for accuracy.
  • Investigates differences between the collateral reports and the BBR through contact with the Portfolio/Relationship Manager or Borrower.
  • May reconcile Demand Deposit Account collections to the Borrowing Base Certificate.
  • Reconciles data and enters Borrowing Base and supporting data into the Asset-based Lending software.
  • Reviews results for accuracy, potential fraud, and unusual accounts/amounts.
  • Validates loan balances and other reserves to BaNCS and other sources.
  • Borrowing Base Review results are communicated to the Portfolio
  • Manager/Relationship Manager, Borrower (where communication is allowed), and to others as required by CCM policy.
  • Escalates over-advances or potential fraudulent activity to Credit Administrators or others as required.
  • Contacts the Portfolio/Relationship manager or Borrower when needed to collect past due collateral reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-2+ years accounting, accounts receivable and reconciliations, banking, asset based lending processes, borrowing based certificates or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Proficient knowledge of banking or asset based lending processes, accounts receivables, payable aging's and balancing principles.
  • Working knowledge of participation loans (multiple lenders, multiple sources of collateral).
  • Some working knowledge of various types of new loans, multiple advance rates and complex limitations (advance caps) on the collateral.
  • Ability to prepare accounting reports.
  • Strong organizational, analysis and balancing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced working knowledge of computer software including; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.

The position is located at the Zions Technology Center which is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company's primary technology and operations center.
