Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic Operating Room (OR) team. As an integral member of our surgical services department, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with surgical equipment setup, instrumentation, and sterilization.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions, intervening as needed to maintain stability.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, postoperative care, and recovery.
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Utah.
• Experience working in an operating room (OR) setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
