Job Description:

APP
Medical-Oncology IMED

This Advanced Practice Provider will join our Oncology team based in the Salt Lake Valley. Our world-class physicians and APPs apply a variety of advanced methods and therapies to reduce and remove cancer cells. Care plans involve individualized treatments based on a patient's cancer type, stage, and location of the cancer, and other considerations.

The APP will be based in our medical oncology clinic at Intermountain Medical Center. They will work collaboratively with our Hematologist/Oncologist to provide care to a variety of disease types and manage supportive care and treatment toxicities.

Full time and fully-benefits eligible, the APP will typically be scheduled 40 hours per week, anticipated as four 10 hour shifts. They may assist in after-hours clinic call in the evenings, weekends, and holidays on a limited basis. While based at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake the APP may be asked to provide coverage at our other facilities within the Salt Lake Valley or via telehealth to other areas, on an as-needed basis.

We highly prefer an APP with a passion for oncology, significant interest in hematology, and a background in oncology, internal medicine, and/or hospitalist medicine.
