Overview
The USU Bastian Agricultural Center is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Special Projects Assistant. As a Special Projects Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Center Director in various special projects related to build-out, marketing, and other initiatives. The role will involve coordinating and managing project activities, conducting research, preparing reports, and assisting in the implementation of strategic plans. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and coordination of special projects at the USU Bastian Agricultural Center
  • Support the implementation of various agricultural initiatives and programs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful execution of special projects
  • Conduct research and analysis related to agricultural industry trends and best practices
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation
  • Help with outreach and communication efforts to promote special projects and engage stakeholders
  • Provide general support to the Center Director and other team members as needed
  • Assist with social media campaigns and outreach


Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
  • MS or MBA
  • 4-H Youth Development and Extension Experience
  • Project/Event Management Experience

Preferred Qualification:
  • Equine Professional Experience
  • Marketing Design Experience
