About The Role

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Full-time Deposit Operations Specialist for the Service Center in Pleasant Grove.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide confidential administrative support to management
  • Review new account documents and associated reports, maintain data and track errors
  • Edits written communication from word processing documents and create new documents, including job aids, as needed
  • Assists in resolving problems with accounts, new account documents, customers, Bank items, and some vendors
  • Assist with new account items such as the new accounts platform system, consumer and business accounts, IRAs and HSAs as well as other investment accounts
  • Establish new IRA's, set-up auto distributions, competing death distributions and ensuring accurate IRS reporting
  • Collect, track/work, and monitor all reports
  • Grant employee access to a number of systems
  • Complete events and requests submitted to the department queue
  • Performs duties such as answering a high volume of calls, handling mail, shredding, copying, scanning, errands, order and maintaining supplies inventory
  • Assists with research for procedure development
  • Division and Branch contact for CardWizard printers and supplies
  • Orders and maintains Gift, Travel and debit card inventory, and sending supplies

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.


About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six months to two years of bank Operations experience
  • Must have good customer service skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and good attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and have good communication and computer skills
  • Must have excellent writing skills

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
