Job Description

SUMMARY

As the Director of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall brand strategy and messaging framework to enhance the company's reputation, increase brand awareness, and foster positive customer perception. You will lead a team of creative and marketing professionals, collaborating with various departments to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels. The primary focus of this role is to drive market presence, engage target audiences, and achieve strategic business growth objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and values, and ensure its integration into all marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Messaging Framework: Create a compelling messaging framework that effectively communicates the company's unique value proposition and resonates with target audiences across different segments.
  • Brand and Design Management: Oversee the development and management of the company's brand and design, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels.
  • Media and Public Relations: Manage media relations and develop strategies for public relations, corporate communications, and brand awareness.
  • Content Creation and Website Management: Supervise the creation of engaging content for marketing channels, with a focus on the website and thought leadership. Ensure the website content aligns with overall marketing and brand strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and use the insights to refine the brand strategy and messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, design, product, and sales, to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Brand Experience: Develop initiatives to enhance the overall brand experience for customers, employees, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive and cohesive brand perception.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the brand and messaging team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Customer Marketing: Manage the customer experience and drive retention strategies including Customer Summits and site review management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years of relevant leadership experience in brand strategy, messaging, or marketing, with a track record of success in building and managing brand campaigns.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration, and achieving results through others.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking abilities and the capacity to develop and implement innovative brand strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing data, interpreting market trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
