Position Overview:

As a Front-End Engineer for our client, you will be creating functional/efficient mobile and web applications. Your responsibilities will include participating in all phases of the software development life cycle in a fast-paced agile setup. What You Will Be Doing:

In this role, our client needs a great front-End developer / Lead who is proficient with React.js. Your main focus will be developing UI components and implementing them following with React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will need to make sure that the components and the application are easy to maintain. You will need to collaborate in a team dynamic working on different areas of the infrastructure. This will be during all phases of the SDLC.

* You will be performing tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation

* You will need to translate designs and wireframes into clear and concise code

* You will be writing reusable, testable, and clear/concise code

* You will develop new user-facing features using React.js

* You will build out reusable components and front-end libraries to use in the future

* You will be participating in feature grooming, providing inputs on design/perform story point estimation

* You will be optimizing components for high performance across several web-capable devices and browsers

* You will be implementing software enhancements and providing feedback towards improvements

* You will be responsible for the implementation of security and data protection

* You will be working closely with UI/UX Designers, Product Owners and Architects to understand end user requirements to provide feedback/solutions for the implementation of new features for the software

What We Are Looking For:

* You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar

* You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a front-end developer in an Agile scrum development team.

* You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience building interfaces in react.js or similar JS Framework experience

* You must have strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

* You must have a very solid understanding of React.js and its core principles

* You must have experience with JavaScript workflows

* You must have experience in type system for React such as Flow or Typescript or similar

* You must be familiar and comfortable with RESTful APIs

* You must have strong knowledge of JSON Web Token or modern authorization mechanisms

* You must have familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and test frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine

* You must have experience with common front-end development tools: Babel, Webpack, NPM, or similar

* You will need to have the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

* You will need to have familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

* You will need to have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

* You will need to have basic understanding of back-end technologies, such as java or python

* You will need to have experience of working on 3D rendering

* You will need to have the ability to work with browser offline storage
