Job Summary
You will be part of a talented team of software engineers who strive to apply the latest technology trends to provide best in class solutions for our customers within Dentrix Ascend. This position is responsible for performing advanced programming tasks for the maintenance and enhancement in the finance domain around insurance claims processing and electronic remittance advice.
What You Will Do
Craft code that reflects an expert understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture and solid engineering principles
Refactoring code to optimize performance, enhance maintainability, and drive innovation
Follow the Test-Driven Development (TDD) paradigm
Model and mentor in class best practices to improve engineering processes
Solve complex problems using knowledge, passion, and curiosity
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetingsand code reviews
Code with adherence to best practices including test driven development
Partner with our DevOps team to build and support CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications
Must Haves
8+ years of experience building backend software with Java
Prior as experience as a team or tech lead is preferred
Understanding of domain driven design
Expert level experience in unit testing
Understanding and defining cross-team interdependent roadmaps
Experience working in an agile environment(Jira a plus)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Enjoy sharing ideas with, and learning from, other team members
Effectively estimate engineering work within 6-12 month timelines
The posted range for this position is$115,00 - $150,000which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a12.5%bonusnot reflected in the posted range.
