Position Overview:

The Office of Vital Records and Statistics (OVRS) is looking for a Java Developer to work on applications that track the facts of vital events and issuance of certificates. These include birth, death, and marriage certificates. Numerous creative development opportunities exist as we create new applications or enhance existing ones with additional features.

Skillsets We Are Looking For:

* Java

* SQL

* PHP

* HTML

* Javascript

* Spring Boot

* React (or modern frontend framework)

* REST APIs

* RDBMS - especially MySQL

* git

* Junit (or similar)

* IDE of choice (VS Code, IntelliJ, etc.)

* Nice to haves: UX/UI Skills, FHIR AWS Cloud

* Candidates must be willing and able to pass a drug and a background screen
