Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager of Marketing Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and management of marketing technology systems that drive our organization's digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing technologies, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing technology strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for adoption and implementation.

Technology Stack Management:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement marketing technology solutions to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and automation of marketing processes.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring the organization receives maximum value from software and tools.

Data Integration and Analytics:

  • Oversee and implement the integration of marketing technology platforms with other business systems to create a seamless flow of data.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to derive insights from data, optimize marketing performance, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead a team of marketing technology specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and sales, to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.

Campaign Execution and Optimization:

  • Work closely with marketing teams to execute digital campaigns using marketing technology tools, including pixel/tag implementation; API, webhook, and server-to-server integrations; reverse ETL builds; and proper data flow and tracking.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure that marketing technology systems comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing technology management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, CDP, analytics, and other relevant marketing technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, connecting to and managing APIs and webhooks, and Google Tag Manager (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Experience managing a team and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
