Mission:
Maximize the sustainable growth of our VTS business across the Mid-Atlantic Territory, by promoting sales of service products to new and existing customers, in accordance with agreed business plans. Work location is remote, with a preference for the successful candidate to be based in Philadelphia\Baltimore\Northern Virginia.

Broad Activities:
Service Sales Engineer (SSE) position will be provided the tools and support necessary to be successful and grow within the organization. The SSE will gain a deep understanding of our After Market and Service Sales strategy, whilst having the opportunity to hone and develop key sales behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upsell and promote our proactive service products. Service Plans, pump exchanges, certified units and field services
  • To strategically grow the business through the analysis and development of our pump install base.
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities towards achieving agreed business targets, managing personal time and productivity.
  • Creating service plans and quotations by using our internal quoting tool
  • Capture and maintain sales data in our CRM platform, using it as your daily sales tool. This includes the planning of appointments, visit reports, leads, opportunities and quotations.
  • Develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the territory and to ensure an excellent standard of aftermarket service is provided.
  • Identifying and managing distributors and manufacturing representative companies
  • Effectively collaborate with your service and divisional colleagues, managers and support services
  • Attend sales meetings and ensure that all subsequent action required is undertaken.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work related to VTS, including new products and Marketing Campaigns
  • Provide Customer information / feedback on a regular basis.
  • Intensive travel
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years direct sales experience, selling service and/or capital equipment
  • Ability to exhibit a hunting mentality when sourcing for leads and pursuing goals.
  • Passion for Service and customer satisfaction
  • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and the ability to learn and utilize additional transaction & planning systems.
  • Ability to drive customer success through the building of strong customer relationships and the delivery of customer centric solutions.
  • Ability to improve business results by embracing change and creating innovative ways for Edwards Vacuum to be successful.
  • Capability of focusing on team success, working collaboratively with others, while looking for better ways to deliver lasting results.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
