Established in 2017, trü frü changed the way America snacks forever. trü frü is a Utah-based company that rapidly ascended the “permissible indulgence” space by innovating a “better-for-you” 100% real fruit immersed in premium chocolate indulgence to retail outlets nationwide. Winning consecutive most innovative product awards at Sweets & Snacks in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 while climbing the snack industry velocity charts at an astounding growth rate, trü frü joined the Mars family of brands in February 2023. We are on an exciting mission to build a fruit forward snacking legacy around an incredible product line with trüly remarkable people to create something special for generations to come!


 

What you’ll do...

As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for a wide range of design projects, from packaging and advertisements to tradeshow booths and merchandise. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in maintaining our brand's visual identity and enhancing our marketing efforts. The graphic designer is responsible for creating visual content that represents and enhances the company's brand image. You will design a wide range of materials, from logos, advertisements, and product packaging to website graphics and marketing collateral. By combining your creative skills with an understanding of the company's objectives, the graphic designer helps convey messages effectively, engage customers, and maintain brand consistency. You will collaborate with various departments to produce visually compelling materials that support marketing, sales, and overall business goals, ensuring that the company's visual identity leaves a lasting and positive impression on its target audience. You will use various innovation techniques (brainstorming, design thinking, lean, prototyping, rapid experimentation) to anticipate future trends and refine business ideas or processes.


Job Aspects

  • Product Packaging Design: Create visually appealing and functional packaging designs for the company's products. This includes designing labels, boxes, pouches, and other packaging materials. Ensure that packaging complies with industry regulations and effectively communicates product information.
  • Advertising and Marketing Materials: Design promotional materials for advertising campaigns, both for in-store displays and e-commerce platforms.
  • Branding and Logo Design: Ensure consistent and compelling branding for the company. Design or update logos, brand materials, and brand guidelines. Craft custom trü frü merchandise to be distributed to employees, influencers, guests, and other stakeholders. Analyze brand perception and ensures positive impact of the brand in the market.
  • Packaging for Marketing and Promotions: Design promotional packaging, limited edition packaging, and special gift sets for seasonal promotions or special events. Promote and maintain the brand image at local, national or international levels.
  • Trade Show and Event Materials: Create eye-catching booth designs, banners, and promotional materials for trade shows and events. Ensure that the company stands out in a competitive environment.
  • Social Media Graphics: Develop visuals and graphics for the company's social media accounts, ensuring that posts are engaging and align with brand aesthetics.
  • In-House Communication Materials: Design internal materials for employee training, communication, and recognition. This may include posters, newsletters, and digital communication tools.
  • Sourcing and Vendor Collaboration: Work with printing companies, photographers, and other vendors to ensure the quality of printed materials and photography.
  • Maintain Visual Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design materials maintain a consistent visual brand identity, including color schemes, typography, and imagery.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up with current design and industry trends to ensure the company's materials are fresh and appealing.
  • File Management: Organize and manage folders containing all product images and necessary assets for every product for company-wide use.

You have.....

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
    • BFA or BA in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Create Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience working in packaging design (preferred).

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range.  Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
