Are you currently enrolled at an accredited college in a Business degree program with an Accounting or Finance emphasis?
OESC is hiring Interns to work 20-40 hours a week beginning in May 2023. This position will pay $18 per hour depending on experience. The work location will be in Milwaukee office
Qualified candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance and be at least in their sophomore year.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Reconciliation of GL Accounts
- Assist with maintaining and updating audit work papers for the GL accounts
- Prepare any adjusting journal entries
- Accounts Payable data entry
- Review and resolve Accounts Payable Statements
- Filing/Shredding
- Audit Projects
- Other misc. accounting and operational duties
- 0-2 years accounting or finance experience or applicable work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
